Free Event Benefitting Three Square Food Bank

Las Vegas, NV – September 30, 2012 – This year’s Italian Sports Car Day was the third annual event and ran from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. at Siena Italian Authentic Trattoria & Deli at 9500 West Sahara Avenue in Las Vegas. This event is always free and open to the public and boasts the motto, “Where the best Italian food meets the best Italian cars.” Guests had the opportunity to view some of the finest Italian sports cars, and car enthusiasts were also encouraged to bring their Italian “pride and joy” to display. Guests enjoyed live music, a raffle, and wine tasting with a portion of wine sale proceeds and all raffle ticket sales benefiting Three Square Food Bank, feeding hungry children in Las Vegas.

There was no shortage of beautiful cars showcasing Ferrari, Maserati, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, and of course, Lamborghini. Siena Italian Authentic Trattoria and Deli has become the Formula 1 race viewing destination in Las Vegas – broadcasting both the qualifying and main race events on its 55” widescreen TV.

“We are passionate about cars and racing, especially the Formula 1 class of auto racing,” said owner Antonio Accornero. “Internationally, F1 – or as many call it, Grand Prix – is the most popular kind of racing. And the first Formula 1 World Champion was won by Italian Giuseppe Farina in his Alfa Romeo in 1950.”
