Las Vegas, December 05, 2024 – Siena Italian Authentic Trattoria hosted a special LVMPD Foundation event on Thursday evening. After conducting their monthly meeting, Board Members celebrated their friend and coworker, Mary Ballinger, on her well-deserved retirement from the LVMPD Foundation. Mary worked as a volunteer coordinator, supporting the Foundation’s mission and serving as an invaluable member of the team.
“Mary was one of the first people I met when I started working closely with the Foundation in support of the LVMPD,” said Antonio Accornero, LVMPD Foundation Board member and owner of Siena. “She’s done a wonderful job for the Foundation, and I wish her all the best in her retirement!”
Mary’s indomitable spirit and positive energy have made an impact on everyone who knows her, and she will be sorely missed. However, as a result of her dedication to the job, Mary will continue to volunteer with Metro and serve as a chaplain, offering compassion and guidance to those in crisis. It looks like maybe it’s only a semi-retirement!
