Las Vegas, December 2, 2025 – It’s that time of year again, and Mario’s Westside Market is gearing up for their annual Christmas Toy and Bike Giveaway. Each year, the Market’s owner, Mario Berlanga, hosts the event, partnering with the LVMPD’s Bolden Area Command and Las Vegas area donors.
One such contributor, local philanthropist Antonio Accornero, joined the collaboration once again this year, donating more bicycles than ever before! A longtime supporter of LVMPD, Mr. Accornero sets aside funds every year for the event and makes it a point to personally take part in the delivery of the bikes. “I’ve really enjoyed being involved in this event over the past several years,” he said. “It’s so heartwarming to see how much happiness a new toy or bike can bring to these kids.”
LVMPD Officers and LVMPD Foundation members, including Executive Director Karen Marben, took time out of their busy work schedules to help with the delivery of the bicycles to Mario’s Westside Market for the upcoming event, which will take place on December 20, 2025.
“Christmas in The 106” (as the area is called after its zip code) is an annual tradition, and each year, the celebration keeps growing. Children and their families look forward to taking part in the festivities, with this year’s attendance projected to break records once again. Everyone is counting down the days, and it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas!
