Las Vegas, December 20, 2025 – This year’s annual “Christmas in the 106” Toy and Bike Giveaway was once again a resounding success! Held at Mario’s Westside Market each year, the event is organized by the market’s owner, Mario Berlanga, with the help of Las Vegas community members and sponsors. Partnering with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s Bolden Area Command helps to ensure a safe and fun-filled gathering.
Joining in on the collaboration once again this year was Antonio Accornero, whose company, Winner Properties, was the single largest donor of bicycles for the giveaway. As a longtime supporter of the LVMPD, Mr. Accornero is always eager to take part in events that provide not only financial aid, but emotional support as well. “I really enjoy participating in this event every year,” said Accornero. “It’s so good to see the happiness on the kids’ faces when they receive a toy or bike for Christmas, and I’m already looking forward to donating even more bikes next year.”
Saturday’s attendance exceeded last year’s record numbers, allowing more families than ever to experience the joys of the Holiday Season. Mr. Berlanga was overwhelmed by the turnout and support. “A massive thank you to our phenomenal sponsors, businesses, and the Bolden Area Command for helping to make this event possible. Our heartfelt appreciation extends to the wonderful community that made this toy drive unforgettable.”
LVMPD Officers provided an extra special treat by bringing the new Tesla Police Cybertruck for everyone to admire. With its futuristic design and police lights flashing, it supplied an extra element of excitement to the festivities this year. The children were in awe seeing the truck up close, as there are only ten Police Cybertrucks in the entire city.
The success of this year’s Toy and Bike Giveaway wouldn’t have been possible without the generosity of community partners like Antonio Accornero. From everyone in the 106, as well as every other zip code in the Las Vegas Valley, sending wishes for a wonderful Holiday Season filled with warmth and happiness!
