Las Vegas, January 20, 2023 – Beth Fisher of the LVMPD Community Relations Office of Public Information stopped by Antonio Accornero’s office Friday to discuss important upcoming events to celebrate the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department’s 50th Anniversary. Among these are: the Wonder Women of Metro Luncheon, the Hidden Heroes Gala, the 50th Anniversary Book Launch, the Lunch with the Sheriff Event, and the Sheriff Salutes the Best of the Badge Gala.
Mr. Accornero has been a longtime supporter of the LVMPD, funding numerous programs and initiatives, as well as contributing to community safety and crime prevention efforts. The LVMPD is thankful to have his support, and newly-elected Sheriff McMahill will be working personally with Mr. Accornero to ensure that the LVMPD remains one of the finest police departments in the nation. As the year 2023 marks the 50th Anniversary of the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, Mr. Accornero has exciting events in store to celebrate this monumental milestone!
